The Ballroom
The centerpiece of Whippoorwill Manor, offering historic elegance and modern comforts—the 1,000-square-foot Great Ballroom, located on the Eastside of the Manor House, seats up to 75 guests and opens onto the back lawn and Orangery, where a 50×80 orangery tent can be added for extended celebrations.
Ceremony Courtyard
Expansive, picturesque landscapes ideal for ceremonies, photos, and outdoor celebrations. From whispering gardens to tranquil ponds, every setting is magical.
The Greenhouse
A serene, glass-enclosed sanctuary filled with natural light—this 30×84-foot greenhouse is perfect for ceremonies or cocktail hours, seating up to 120 for dinner, 200 standing, or 250 for a ceremony. Seasonal availability only—closed June through August.
Groom’s Barn
A rustic yet refined space with stunning views—perfect for receptions, rehearsal dinners, or a picturesque ceremony in front of the barn, which can comfortably seat up to 100 guests.
Front Lawn
Iconic backdrops that provide timeless charm and memorable photo opportunities—the Front Lawn, set before the manor house and porch, offers a perfect Southern backdrop and seating for up to 200 guests.
Orangery Tent
An elegant 50 x 80 ft open-air tented space, surrounded by lush greenery and set lakeside—ideal for ceremonies, al fresco dining, and seating up to 200 guests.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I lock in my dream day?
A 25% deposit of the package selected secures your date. Final payments for all services and rentals should be made 14 days prior to the event date.
What services do you include in your packages?
Packages are tiered to include different levels of accommodation, venue access, rentals, and setup.
What happens if I change my mind on the venue after I’ve paid a deposit?
After you pay the deposit to secure your date, this deposit is refundable for 7 days (1 week). After this, the deposit is no longer refundable. Please refer to your event contract for full details on cancellation and deposit policies.
Who will be able to help me and my family for our day?
At least one WM representative will be on site to open and close all spaces and be available for venue-related questions or issues that may arise. We highly encourage you to book a day-of coordinator and/or wedding planner to assist you with executing your event.
If we’re from out of town, how do I know what vendors to use?
Once you have secured your date with Whippoorwill Manor, we provide a list of recommended local vendors to help you plan with confidence.
Do we have to use Petals & Posies for florals?
No, you are welcome to use a florist other than Petals & Posies, or bring your own floral arrangements if preferred. If needed, our Petals & Posies flower shop with walk-in cooler is available to rent for an additional fee.
Are there accommodations for out-of-town guests?
Yes, we offer onsite lodging for 14 guests as well as nearby recommendations for additional guests once your event date has been secured. An additional property, Wilferd Estate, is available to rent through Airbnb.
What is included in the venue rental?
It varies by the wedding package selected, but each event rental includes access to your chosen spaces, tables, and chairs.
Can we bring our own vendors?
Yes! While you will receive our Preferred Vendor List after booking, which includes vendors preferences for catering, photography, and more, you are welcome to bring your own vendors.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking 6-12 months in advance for larger gatherings and weddings. However, we’re happy to accommodate last-minute bookings if availability allows. Check out our most up-to-date availability.
Do you offer catering services?
Catering through Whippoorwill Manor may be available on a case-by-case basis. Typically, we will do rehearsal dinners and smaller events. You may also bring in your own licensed caterer if preferred.
Can alcohol be served at events?
Yes, we allow alcohol to be served to guests 21+, provided it is handled by a licensed bartender. Self-service is not allowed.
Are decorations provided?
No, we encourage you to bring your own decorations to match your vision.
Is parking available?
On-site parking is available for up to roughly 100 cars. The parking lot is located near all venue spaces, however, a golf cart and shuttle bus are available to transfer guests as needed or in case of inclement weather.
